At the REMM works workshop we use both modern heavy machinery and traditional hand tools. Using a combination of both makes for a hand-built feel at a sensible price. Vanities, cupboards, benches and furniture are all assembled in the shop before arriving at the job site for final install. We use domestic plywoods to keep the off-gassing of formaldehyde within north american standards. German drawer glides and Italian hinges are standard. We do not build to set factory sizes or rely on filler strips like other "custom" cabinet shops. We also build large units to avoid unsightly seems. Our cabinets are built to your space so they always look like they are meant to be there.
